You work hard to keep your house looking its best. You keep it clean. You’ve planned the way it looks with painstaking detail. But sometimes it’s nice to know you’ve got your own corner all for yourself. This corner desk area is just the ticket when you’re overwhelmed; you can sit down and turn your back to the stress of the day and just focus on what’s in the space before you. This corner even has its own cabinet space for both storage and decoration. While this particular desk is in a kitchen (which is a great idea, as you’re using extra counter space as a work area for something other than food), this idea can be applied to any part of the house.
The Corner Desk
The cute rolling chair adds a nice touch, and allows you to be connected to what’s going on in the rest of your home while having easy access to your space. Plus it looks great. A regular black or gray swivel chair just wouldn’t be the same.
While this hub might be used to write letters, make record of recipes, or do your taxes, it’s also a technology center. With the phone and computer both within easy reach, you can do any work, planning or procrastinating with ease and style.
I mentioned before that this space is in a kitchen, and I mention it again because it’s a great idea! When you have that much counter space, you should use it to the best that you can. This counter probably had an extra cabinet where the chair is now scooted in. All it took was a simple removal.
